Do the glasses really protect my eyes?

Yes. All our models have a category 3 filter with UV400 protection and CE marking, which is what European personal protective equipment legislation requires. The dark colour of a lens does not in itself indicate protection: what protects you is the ultraviolet filter.

What is the difference between polarised and non-polarised lenses?

A polarised lens eliminates glare from horizontal surfaces: wet tarmac, water, snow, the bonnet of a car. You really notice it when driving and outdoors. Non-polarised lenses protect just as well against ultraviolet rays, but they do not cut out that glare.

Are they prescription glasses?

No. They are non-prescription sunglasses and do not replace an optical correction prescribed by a professional.

How long will my order take?

2 to 4 working days to mainland Spain and between 3 and 8 to other destinations, depending on the country. For orders paid by bank transfer, the time starts once we confirm receipt of the payment.

How much does shipping cost?

To mainland Spain, nothing: it is free, with no minimum purchase. To other destinations, when available, the cost is shown at checkout before you pay. For the time being we do not ship to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Madeira, the Azores or outside the EU.

Can I return them if I don't like them?

Yes, you have 14 calendar days to return them without giving any reason. You pay for the return shipping, unless the glasses arrive faulty or are not the ones you ordered. You will find all the details on the returns page.

What if they arrive faulty?

Write to us at info@polenegafas.com with your order number and a few photos. The legal guarantee lasts three years from delivery and costs you nothing.

How do I clean them without scratching them?

Rinse the lens with water to wash away the dust and dry it with the microfibre cloth. Dry-cleaning with a tissue or your T-shirt is the most common cause of scratches.

Can I pay cash on delivery?

No. We accept card, Bizum and bank transfer.
